Jéy Jewels by Divya – A Brand Born Out of Passion, Romance, Love, and Ambition

I was in London for work from the USA in 2018. Shortly after my arrival, I happened to meet my now husband. Ours is a classic fairy tale love story. We met, instantly clicked, and spent the next six months falling deeply in love, often walking through the exquisite alleys of London, especially near London Bridge, after working hours.

Against the beautiful backdrop of London Bridge, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and The Shard, our love bloomed. In those beautiful moments, I began envisioning a future for myself in London.

Jewellery has been my passion since childhood and the career I chose. I knew I wanted to continue in this field. This time, however, I decided to start fresh and launch my own brand to bring my ideas and designs to life.

The first of my ideas was to encapsulate the iconic architecture of London into stunning pieces of jewellery. The idea dawned on me while walking along the Thames on a clear summer evening, with the sun setting in the background. Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, and The Shard looked glorious. The view took my breath away and, in that moment, I fell in love with London. That view invigorated my idea of combining my love for jewellery, architecture, and history.

Creating this collection was a challenge I embraced with passion. It took my team and me months of back-and-forth designs and multiple sample iterations to arrive at the final design for each piece in the collection. We ensured that every design aspect was captured, from the small cross on top of Tower Bridge to the iconic rooftops of the Houses of Parliament for Big Ben, the shape of the pods or the number of lines in the wheel for The London Eye, the shape of broken glass on top of The Shard, and much more.

All this while, we ensured the jewellery’s wearability, sustainability, longevity, quality, and luxurious finesse.

My walks through the city of London inspired me to turn stunning architecture into gorgeous jewellery. The idea of keeping a part of the city you love close to you, revisiting your favourite city, or reliving the memories while adorning the jewels, all while looking stylish, striking, and even sexy!

Since its inception, the collection has expanded to embrace various international locations, reflecting the continuous journey of creativity and design. At Jéy Jewels by Divya, we've launched over 10 collections, featuring more than 100 unique designs, each crafted with the same passion and attention to detail that inspired our very first pieces.
